Download me! Smartphone Apps within a few minutes...

I created two smartphone apps for my blog in less than ten minutes - that's kind of efficient. The appmakr creates ready-to-publish iPhone apps, and with the Ovi-App-Wizard, you can create and publish apps for Nokia Smartphones Both work pretty fine, all you need is your rss feed and a few banners and icons. The big difference: Apple requires you toe be part of the Developer Network (which currently costs 99$ per year), Nokia encourages bloggers to publish apps even for single blogs. That's maybe not the most interesting kind of app - but that's my problem; nobody would prevent me from creating something more sophisticated. That's why you can't download my iPhone app yet, you can only watch a preview, but you can and should download my Ovi-App. Why? Because that helps me win a Nokia N8: Nokia runs a raffle; to participate, bloggers need to create an app for their blog and send it to oviappwizard@ovi.com. But you don't have to - as that increases my chances to win... (I need that N8 - so that I can finally watch my own app... :))
