Respekt und die Onlinemarketingpest

Letzte Woche war Thorsten Haveners Anleitung zum Hellsehen hier Thema.
Diese Woche hatte ich eine kurze Unterhaltung mit einem ehemaligen Kollegen, der aus irgendeinem Grund darauf zu sprechen kam, wie gern er eine Clean Desk Policy bei seinen Kollegen durchsetzen wuerde. "Die Diddlmaeuse und Hinterglasmalereien im Buero kann ich nur respektvoll als anders zur Kenntnis nehmen."
Beide machen ihren Punkt damit, die erste eigene Reaktion hintanzustellen und erst einmal das andere aufzuehmen. Nicht: "Ich weiss, was du sagen wolltest.", sondern schweigendes Zur-Kenntnis-Nehmen. Vielleicht koennen wir die Information spaeter einmal brauchen - das steht fuer Respekt und Manipulation zugleich.

Was bezahlen wir, wenn wir Berater beschaeftigen? Wofuer bezahlen wir gerne? Die Allgegenwart von Information und Kontakten in Online Medien laesst auch das Verhaeltnis zwischen Kunden und Berater kippen: Die coole Idee ist ueberall; bezahlbarer Nutzen entsteht in den Muehen der Ebene.
How to use a blog (for non-bloggers)?

I suggested an internal team blog a while ago and was quite alone with that. We then started anyway, and now, a few weeks later, the discussion is on what blogs should be used for.
- Are they a tool to present and discuss ideas and innovation?

What's the story of Enterprise 2.0 if you would have to create a TV-documentary? I want to create a movie on E 2.0 to support the rollout of a big, new and completely different (compared to the current solution) intranet; 5-7 minutes maximum.

We need information. But sometimes we don't want it. Sometimes we are fed with information, sometimes we have to search for it and use tricks to get it. Sometimes we need information for survival, sometimes for entertainment; sometimes we understand it and like it, sometimes we hate it. We are information-eating animals - but what species are we?
Educating the Black Belt Intranet User

The idea of a Black Belt-Programme for intranet editors is to make the usage of intranets as taken for granted as the usage of pencils. Users should not only know how to use intranets, but also how they work, what the reasons for common problems are and how they can be solved - before calling the support and especially before blaming someone.
Why is there no corporate support for broken pencils?

Pencils are still popular tools. Everybody knows how to handle them and what they are for. Everybody know, that there is graphite in the inside and wood on the outside, and people know what to do, when a pencil does not work anymore. They can sharpen them on their own, and they can even handle workarounds (using another pencils, writing with a pen).
They don't call the support.

It´s fascinating how often the same troubles keep coming up again and again.
It´s never the heavily discussed features or the fancy design that are causing troubles in online projects at the end, it's always the very basic stuff:
- Logins don't work
- Proxies and caches cause really bad artefacts.
- Details always get lost, documentation is never precise enough.
