Fighting the One-Person-Enterprise

No, this is not about Small Enterprises. It's about largescale businesses with several thousand employees that streamlined their processes so far, that they operate as if they had only a handful employees.
Is that efficient? (You always know whom to address)
Is it just another process error that should be fixed by striving for even more efficiency?
Or is it just a stupid habit that derives from an old desire of control?

Als Onlinemedien-Person in einer offline dominierten Diskussionsrunde habe ich heute wieder gelernt, dass es auch noch realen Gegenwind gegen Onlinemedien als strategisches, zielgerichtetes Kommunikationsinstrument gibt.

Ich sehe ein schwierigeres Jahr fuer Onlinemedien 2010:
Natuerlich lebt der Social Boom weiterhin, nur in welchem Tempo und fuer welche Zielgruppe?
Ich sehe meherere Gruende, die Social Media, wie wir sie kennengelernt haben, das Leben schwer machen.

I suggested an internal team blog a while ago and was quite alone with that. We then started anyway, and now, a few weeks later, the discussion is on what blogs should be used for.

What's the story of Enterprise 2.0 if you would have to create a TV-documentary? I want to create a movie on E 2.0 to support the rollout of a big, new and completely different (compared to the current solution) intranet; 5-7 minutes maximum.
